About Wobbly Cart Farm

IMG_6397

We are a diverse, 10-acre, certified organic farm, located on the banks of the  Chehalis River 30 miles south of Olympia, Washington.  Since 2005 we have been honored to continue the legacy of organic farming in Independence Valley. Our work combines a love of land with a commitment to a lifestyle that celebrates our passion for delicious, local, organic food.

Our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program creates a mutually beneficial partnership between our farm and you. CSA members join by buying a “share” in the farm in early spring. This provides us with upfron money to purchase seeds, plant our fields, and get the season started.

Once the growing season begins, members receive a weekly box containing a selection of the best produce available on the farm that week, and incredible variety that changes as the season goes on. All our produce is harvested the day of or the day before delivery to ensure maximum freshness, flavor and nutrition.

Your produce is delivered weekly, on Tuesday afternoons, to a convienient drop-site near you. CSA deliveres runfrom mid-June through mid-October, 18 weeks total. The optional Fall CSA runs for four additional weeks from mid-October through mid-November. We pack your share in a durable, recycled plastic tote that is returned each week for reuse, and use minimal plastic bags to reduce waste. We also keep members informed about the farm with weekly newsletters, tips on using your produce, and our favorite recipes.

It is our belief that participation in a CSA is a way of rebuilding the relationship between farmers and eaters. It is a process that is not only about great tasting food, but also promotes health, bolsters local economy, and fosters an environmentally responsible relationship with the land that makes it all possible. We look foreard to sharing this experience with you!

  1. Wondering if you would be willing to do a drop location in Kelso, WA. I saw that your farm delivers to Portland and Kelso is just off of I-5. I am having a hard time finding a CSA that has relatively close drop locations. Thanks!
